Why should I create a Vacation Fund account?

When your employer offers the Vacation Fund Program, creating your account is the first real step in accomplishing your bucket list trips. What’s the point of having a list of places you want to go if you can’t afford it? We want to help you figure out how much you can afford to save for travel on a regular basis, and then keep you on track by saving that money in a separate account, without leaving it in a place where you’re tempted to spend it.

Where is my money being held?

We’ve established a strategic partnership with a wealth management company that will securely hold your funds.

Will my money be safe?

Yes, your money will be kept in a CIPF insured account with our partner wealth management company. We take privacy and security very seriously, so there won’t be any shortcuts here!

Are you an app?

For now, we’re a web-based application that can be accessed on your laptop, tablet, or mobile device. We will be launching an iOS app and an Android app in the not-too-distant future. This will make it easier for us to send you reminders, offers and alerts that are relevant to your travel goals.

Are there any fees involved?

Employers pay a small fee per employee per month to offer the Vacation Fund Program.

What if I live outside of Canada?

We’re only available to Canadians for now, but we’ll be expanding soon. Stay tuned!
